Mode

WATCH VIDEO ON MODES

Seven Modes of operation are available.

Six limits apply to all modes.

Target temperature is the center point of both adaptive and constant temperature bands.

 

Storage 1:

Recommended for USA cornbelt.

Fans run when:

Backlog is greater than zero.

  1. Temperature is within the adaptive band.

  2. EMC is within the adaptive band.

Storage 2:

Recommended for dry climates or if grain is dryer than TMC.

Same as Storage 1 except:

EMC band doesn’t expand on the dry side. Fixed at – 0.2%.

Storage 3:

Recommended for wet climates.

Same as Storage 1 except:

EMC band doesn’t expand on the wet side. Fixed at + 0.2%.

rewetting

Backlog is ignored.

Fans run when:

  1. EMC is greater than the moisture setting.

  2. Temperature is within the constant band. (Default is + 50°)

drying

Backlog is ignored.

Fans run when:

  1. EMC is less than the moisture setting.

  2. Temperature is within the constant band. (Default is + 50°)

 

Special 1:

Recommended for specific conditioning tasks, especially with high airflow available.

Backlog is ignored.

Fans run when:

  1. Temperature is within the constant band. (Default is + 50°)

  2. EMC is within the constant band. (Default is + .1%)

Special 2:

Same as Special 1 except:

Backlog is in effect.
